I think that with all the information we can gather from these websites, the report will be easy to write. The combination of websites has enough information to compare many aspects of the companies. Also any of websites that my partners have found will be very useful. As a result there is a lot of information out there that can be used to help us analyze Apple and Microsoft, so the report will highlight the main points and be backed up with a lot of supporting details.

Everyone has seen the commercials debating Apple computers and PC’s. Which company has better products? Which are easier to use? These are the questions that everyone would like answered.

Since both companies are part of the technological sector, they have similar products. Apple has the ipod and Microsoft has the Zune. These are both portable multimedia devices that many people have purchased and use in everyday life. Both companies also produce computers, both notebooks and desk tops. They also inlcude all the software needed to support these products and other products of similar orientation.

These points bring us back to the orginial question of which company is better. Annual sales show that Microsoft grossed $16.63 billion at the end of 2008 and Apple grossed$10.17 billion for the same time period. Microsoft may have made more money for the last quarter, about $6.5 billion more, but this doesn’t show anything about the company except for sales revenue. A more in depth analysis of the companies is needed so any help anyone can offer would be great.
